Why do the  NuVET Supplement Treats Help the Shedding????

Without proper nourishment shedding problems can go beyond its skin and coat and will continuously be in a state of stress.
If you feed your dog dry commercial dog food, be certain that the first ingredient listed is meat such as beef, poultry, lamb or fish.

A dog sometimes creates an impulse to lick at a specific area of shedding coat, characterized by persistent, obsessive licking and chewing at the target area. Commonly, though, most cases have a suspected cause such as boredom, separation anxiety, frustration, confinement, or even a minor physical origin such as a tiny abrasion that captivates the dog’s interest. If the dog persists in traumatizing the shedding problem area, then symptoms such as “hot spots” can develop. Repeated episodes of self-mutilation, partial healing, then repeated trauma and healing, result in severe and disfiguring scarring. Deep bacterial infections are common and permanent skin damage results when a dog shedding problem escalates from a few hairs to big tufts of fur.

Ensuring healthy skin and hair is important.
Dry skin can lead to dog having an extreme shedding problem. These skin conditions can be very itchy or painful and prompt your dog to scratch himself excessively.

Only Natural ingredients used for easy digestion

Every ingredient we use is easy for your dog's body to absorb. In this way, all nutrients are quickly used by your pet's metabolism, providing the full benefit of each crucial ingredient.

This supplement will not interfere with any drugs your dog may be taking.  Even if your dog accidentally eats too much, he or she will generally be safe from adverse reactions.

Only using natural, human-grade, water soluble ingredients, this supplement will NOT irritate your dog even if he or she has a sensitive stomach.

Re: Alopecia - My itchy dog:

Question
I ran out dogfood and gave my aussie doodle kibbles and bits. She stated biting herself and chewing the hair into little balls of fluff. Should I try benadryl?
I switched her back to her other food and gave her a couple of baths
